Sorry I have not posted any fishing reports in a few days. The past few trips were pretty slow, the average catch was around one 5 gall bucket per person (some people did little better, some worse).  Finally today was a very good day, everyone limited out with Scup and some people had their legal limit of Tautog. We had good weather and good fishing. The pictures you see are from previous trips.

Our first fishing trip of the season went pretty well. People who fished hard had their legal limit of Haddock. The weather affected some fisherman; it was a rainy day, so some people did not get their legal limit. We did not get any Pollock or red fish. Overall: not a bad start. Continue Reading

I would like to THANK EVERYONE, who came fishing with us in 2018 fishing season. I know I told many people we will be fishing till November 25th 2018; however the weather has not been cooperating with us, so we decided to End our season earlier. We will start fishing again in April 2019, fishing… Continue Reading

This year’s Tautog fishing has been pretty slow so far. We have been waiting for some improvement, but so far it did not happen!  On some days people go home with one maybe two keepers, but there is always someone who goes home with no fish. There is a lot of small tautog caught, but… Continue Reading

Last weekend was the beginning of the Tautog fishing for us. Saturday we caught a plenty of Tautog, but none of them were keepers. Sunday was a little better. There were 2 keepers caught on the whole boat. Let’s hope we will get some cooler weather and the fishing will improve. Continue Reading

Our fishing luck changes day by day. A couple weeks ago we could not catch anything; last weekend was actually pretty good fishing and the past Friday was our worst trip of the season. Today was not bad. People who tried and put an effort into it had one 5 gallon bucket. We are still… Continue Reading

August is here and a bunch of little fish came with it. We have had some good days and we also have had days we can’t get away from the mix of “pins” and a nicer fish. Today was an interesting day; we caught a fish we have not caught before on our boat. We… Continue Reading

Fishing has been day by day and it seems like fishing down the Vineyard Sound was primarily about porgies. If we stay in the Bay we get more of a mix between Porgies and Sea Bass with the exception of today (nothing was biting today). Our Fluke and Sea Bass fishing on Tuesdays and Thursdays… Continue Reading

Yesterday was our first Fluke and Sea Bass trip and it could have been better. There was about 9 keeper Fluke caught all day, a lots of short ones, about 15.5 inches. Sea Bass was OK, some people had their legal limit and there were also a few porgies caught as well. Overall there is… Continue Reading

Finally the nice weather is here! Fishing the last couple of days was very slow, so today our Capt. Chris took a long 2 hour ride and it was worth it! Everyone got their legal limit of fish and it felt like early spring again. Continue Reading
