Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during these tough times. After we found out we could carry only 8 passengers our first emotions were disappointment and then frustration. Many phone calls later, we have decided to sail, because we had lots of interested people to go fishing. We have done a few trips in the past week and fishing for the most part has been good. There were only a couple of slow trips so far. Seems like getting 5 Sea Bass is not a problem this time of the year. We even had some customers limiting out with Tautog and most of the people got their legal limit of Porgies. We will keep everyone posted if we hear about new fishing regulations.

We were very excited when we heard the news about re-opening on May 25th, just to satisfy the requirements. We have received an email from the D.M.F stating the Limitations on Outdoor Recreational Activities and Facilities in Massachusetts: ” With respect to for-hire and charter fishing, the Order provides that no more than 10 people,… Continue Reading

Unfortunately, we’re not going to be fishing for Haddock and Pollock in April. All the non-essential businesses are closed till May 4th. We are ready to go as soon as we get the OK from our governor Charlie Baker, that it would be safe for us as well as our customers. Also, I would like… Continue Reading

Last Wednesday was a good day! Just the first hour of our fishing trip we caught Weakfish, Blue fish, Tautog and plenty of Porgies. Yesterday was very slow and it seemed that all we could find was tiny fish. Today’s fishing is slow, but already better than yesterday. We are impatiently waiting for cooler weather, … Continue Reading

Fishing has been day by day. Fluke and Sea Bass on Tuesdays and Thursdays have been very slow. There are lots of little fluke and only a handful of keepers per trip. There are some Sea Bass caught on those trips, so people do not go home empty handed. Our Porgy and Sea Bass trips… Continue Reading

Happy Father’s Day!!! I was really hoping the weather and fishing would be much better on this special day. We had to cancel last Thursday and Friday due to the bad weather. Unfortunately fishing has been pretty slow the last two days. Yesterday almost everyone went home with their legal limit of Sea Bass and… Continue Reading

Fishing has been OK. Some days are very good and some days are a little slower. We have been seeing way more sea bass and already caught our first fluke of the season. There are some nice size porgies caught, the one on the picture is 17 inches long. Got to love our regular customers,… Continue Reading

Sorry I have not posted any fishing reports in a few days. The past few trips were pretty slow, the average catch was around one 5 gall bucket per person (some people did little better, some worse).  Finally today was a very good day, everyone limited out with Scup and some people had their legal… Continue Reading
