I’ve never done this before, how should I get started?

Do I need a fishing license to fish on a charter boat?
No, the boat is completely equipped with all the proper licensing for you to fish.
What should I bring with me on the boat?
You don’t need much! Small personal lunch coolers are welcomed aboard. (No fish coolers!) We do have a galley on board with a snack bar and drinks (cash only accepted on board), proper shoes (no sandals or flip flops) a hat, a pair of sunglasses and sun block.
Is there anything I can’t bring on the boat?
NO FISH COOLERS! (we recommend to bring 5 gall buckets or purchase a fish bag for $2.00),NO flip flops on a fishing trips.
NO DRUGS! INCLUDING MARIJUANA!
Can someone clean my fish?
Yes, the mates will clean your fish. ($1 per fish) (Cash only accepted on board.)
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your charter (40 people) 30 days prior to your scheduled trip and pay no fee, if cancelled in less than 30 days prior to your trip deposit will not be refunded.
Smaller groups (10-25 people) have 14 days cancellation policy.
Individuals and groups up to 9 people can cancel 48 hours prior to their trip.
If you fail to show up for a fishing trip or you are missing some people from your reserved seats, your credit card will be charged 50% of each individual you fail to show up.
If the Captain cancels the trip, you will receive a complete refund if deposit was received.
What about alcohol on the boat?
You are welcome to bring any alcohol on a fishing trip (not on cruises). (Please bring drinks in cans not glass bottles.) Please drink responsibly! Remember it’s a fishing trip, not a drinking trip. Captain’s orders over rule ALL policies of the company when at sea.
Is the boat safe for me and my entire family?
We are Coast Guard inspected and approved vessel. You’re safe with us!
What are the age limits on the boat?
We do not take children younger than 5 years old to go on fishing trips with us.
There is no age limit on our 2-hour cruises – children 5 years old and younger are welcome!
Is parking available?
Parking is available at the Onset Town Pier. All day (fishing) $16.00. Hourly (cruises) $2.00 per hour. Handicap and veteran plate – parking is free.
Rod rentals?
If you do not bring your own fishing rod, you can rent one on the boat for $5.00. In case of loosing the rod rental in the water there is a $100 fee.
Do I need to bring bait?
No! Bait is always included on our fishing trips.
