We have completed the first three days of the 2026 fishing season, and a significant increase in fishing productivity has been noted with each passing day. On Sunday, anglers averaged approximately 25-30 porgies per person, with a few individuals reaching their daily limit. Weather forecasts indicate high winds within the next few days, which may impact our schedule and necessitate cancellations.

Tautog fishing in Buzzards Bay has been very good. We can say with confidence that the majority of people have been reaching their legal limit of Tautog. Sea Bass is finally open, the Miss Chris ended up with 6 keepers total, between 2 trips. Helen Nikole did well today. It was a big variety of fish. Weak fish, striped bass, Tautog, some sea bass and bunch of porgies were caught between the two trips. Continue Reading

Fishing in the Bay for Porgy and Sea Bass has slowed way down since early spring. We have done a few trips on our 6-man charter Helen Nikole for Striped Bass, and that seems to be going pretty well. We even caught a triple header today! Well done Capt. Nick. Continue Reading
